

StatoilHydro is inviting international graduates to their corporate training programme.Our corporate trainee programme helps ensure the company meets its long-term demand for professionals and leaders within defined subject areas. To be considered as a trainee you need to have a Master’s degree with excellent results. You can come directly from university or have up to two years work experience behind you. We annually recruit approximately 30 trainees.The positions are posted on StatoilHydro.com in October. Possible candidates are invited to an assessment centre in December and the corporate trainee programme, which is a 2-year programme, starts in August the following year.
Last year, Jaunty Edobor Aidamenbor (25) from Nigeria and Tyler Scott (27) from the USA joined Statoil on 1 September 2006 and were temporarily employed in the health, safety and environment (HSE) entity in the International Exploration & Production (INT) business area. Both trainees have already got a good grounding in the group’s diversity and have received a taste of what they can expect.
